Wavefront Establishes Mobile Accelerator Program for Ontario Wireless Companies
Sep 21, 2012
Mobile and wireless incubator Wavefront is receiving support from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP) to provide a wireless commercialization accelerator program for SMEs based in Ontario.
“Many emerging companies lack the financial resources, industry connections or business acumen needed to develop and commercialize their products. With the support of NRC-IRAP, Wavefront Accelerator Programs bridge this gap, providing a competitive advantage by allowing companies to enhance earnings potential while going to market sooner and with greater impact,” said Nathan Robinson, Manager, Business Development, Ontario, Wavefront.
The Wavefront Accelerator Programs provide an array of commercialization services from business advisory services from experienced wireless industry professionals, technical preparation, testing resources, and business development support. Furthermore, the Programs help companies define business strategies, test products for commercial readiness, and gain entry into the wireless ecosystem with strategic industry connections and unique competitive advantages, reducing time-to-market and accelerating time-to-revenue.
Wavefront is the National Centre of Excellence accelerating innovation and commercialization for Canada’s wireless companies by connecting them with critical resources, partners and opportunities, to drive economic and social benefits for Canada.
