The Toronto Global Forum kicked off on Monday morning at the Fairmont Royal York hotel in Toronto, with the participation of dozens of experts and economists under the title “Charting A New Economy”.
The forum is an international conference fostering dialogue on national and global issues. It is held under the auspices of the International Economic Forum of the Americas (IEFA).
The IEFA organizes annual summits bringing together heads of states, central bank governors, ministers, and global economic decision-makers. The Forum also offers exclusive opportunities for business meetings aimed at promoting partnerships among major Canadian and international corporations.
The Toronto Global Forum presents also significant opportunities for synergies between stakeholders, speakers, business delegations, and attendees onsite.
During the Toronto Global Forum, over 100 bilateral meetings take place onsite between senior decision-makers and actors of the global economy.
Numerous contacts are also made informally, through private client meetings, setting the stage and opportunity for new partnerships.
Over the years, the Toronto Global Forum has increasingly developed into a strategic platform for business development.
The Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE) will announce the results from its ‘Big Ideas’ initiative at the forum later today. CFEE ‘Big Ideas’ initiative asked older adults from across Canada for their best ideas on what could be done to assist seniors. The initiative received over 40 submissions.
