The 2023 Winter Festival organised by the Taste of the Middle East Toronto promises to be an exciting and unforgettable event. The festival celebrates Middle Eastern culture, showcasing its rich heritage, traditions, and culinary delights.

The festival will take place in the heart of Toronto on March 17, 18, and 19, where visitors will be able to indulge in the flavors and aromas of the Middle East. The festival is a perfect opportunity for people to experience the region’s vibrant culture and traditions.

Celebrate Iraq is a full-day segment on Sunday, March 19. It’s the theme for the day. During the day there will be traditional Iraqi music by “evoun” at 4 pm Salam Al Iraq is coming all the way from Montreal with his band and it will turn into a party Dj.2 and Dj Ibrahim are our feature DJs.

In partnership with “The Day Events”; Taste of the Middle East Toronto is also hosting a Kids Zone. Kids will enjoy their time and be engaged in meaningful learning opportunities that would leave them with unforgettable memories. Various activities, games, shows, and much more will be taking place throughout the event.

One of the highlights of the festival will be the Middle Eastern food. The festival organizers have invited some of the best Middle Eastern chefs from around the world to showcase their culinary skills and offer visitors a unique culinary experience. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste a wide range of dishes, from savory meat dishes to sweet desserts and pastries.

In addition to the food, visitors can enjoy various cultural performances, such as traditional dance and music performances, poetry readings, and storytelling. These performances provide a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the Middle East.

The festival also includes a marketplace where visitors can buy authentic Middle Eastern products and souvenirs, including textiles, jewelry, and artwork. This provides a unique opportunity for visitors to take home a piece of the Middle East and continue to appreciate its culture and traditions long after the festival is over.

One of the festival’s goals is to promote understanding and appreciation of Middle Eastern culture, and it accomplishes this by offering educational activities for visitors of all ages. These activities include workshops on Middle Eastern calligraphy, henna art, and traditional crafts.
