While the Canada 150 celebrations have come to an end, you may still want to own a peace of Canadian pride by visiting Peace Collective at Square One Shopping Center (or shopping online at www.peace-collective.com).
Peace Collective is a brand that “enables Canadians to show pride in who they are and where they come from.”
The brand’s products are carried at different retailers all over the GTA. The flagship store is located in downtown Toronto at 131 Ossington Ave.
A quick visit to the open concept space on the upper level of Square One will leave you feeling proud to be Canadian. Shirts for men, women, and children, all proudly display patriotic phrases like, “Canadian Built,” “Home is Canada,” and “Toronto VS Everybody.”
The best part is when you buy something from Peace Collective, you know some of the proceeds are going to support a good cause. As written on the wall behind the register, “The purchase of every garment will allow us to support The Peace Foundation in providing two healthy meals and a snack to a Canadian child in need.”
Near the back, you’ll find lineups to try the pop-up, Peace Treats, where you can, “Treat yo’ self” by devouring beautiful gourmet milkshakes that taste as good as they look.
Peace Collective is currently a pop-up store in Square One and is slated to close in December 2017.
