Ontario Helping Immigrants and Refugees Settle and Succeed

Province Accepting Applications for Four Programs to Support Newcomers

With the presence of esteemed politicians: Councillor Pat Saito, Ward 9 on behalf of Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie , Mr. Mohamad Fakih, and many other including the media, Honorable Laura   Albanese, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Ontario,

 was Paramount Fine Foods – مطاعم بارمونت in #Mississauga today to mark #WorldRefugeDay and announce new provincial support to help refugees and other newcomers succeed. Where the province is enhancing services in the settlement, case management, employment and training support, and programming for refugee women and newcomer youth. Emphasizing on the importance in learning the English Language to facilitate the integration with the Canadian mosaic. 


As part of 2017 budget, the province is investing $17.5 million in the new funding over the coming two years to help refugees and vulnerable newcomers. In 2017-18, Ontario is investing over 110 million in newcomer and refugee support including language, training settlement and employment programs.
