Niagara Falls Lights up in colors of Egyptian Flag

Niagara Falls lit up in the colors of the Egyptian flag on Thursday evening, to celebrate Egypt’s National Day (68th anniversary of the July revolution).

The Egyptian embassy in Ottawa led by Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid made great efforts to coordinate with the Canadian side to prepare for this distinguished celebration that also coincides with the celebrations of the Egyptian Heritage Month in Ontario, during which a series of virtual events have been organized, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Egyptian ambassador had raised the Egyptian flag earlier in the day in front of the Ottawa municipality to celebrate the Egyptian Heritage Month and the anniversary of the July revolution.
