KiSS 92.5 Concert Coverage to Stream Live for First Time
2012-08-13

Live multi-platform coverage from the annual KiSS FM 92.5 Wham Bam summer music concert will be available for the first time this year.
Coverage of the live concert will be available on KiSS 92.5 radio, online at KiSS925.com, and on Citytv and the CityNews Channel.
Show producers say they will use four behind-the-scenes cameras to capture backstage action throughout the event.
Live reports will include interviews, behind-the-scenes commentary and fan interaction, and coverage will be hosted by KiSS on-air hosts, CityNews anchors and entertainment reporters.
“Expanding a typically radio-dominated event like Wham Bam across multiple platforms will truly enhance the audience experience this year,” said Karen Steele, Program Director, KiSS 92.5. “From tapping into our active communities on social media, to engaging our leading sister news and entertainment brands at Rogers Media, we are going beyond the airwaves to deliver the ultimate fan experience for KiSS 92.5’s Wham Bam 2012.”
Wham Bam made its debut in 2000 at the Kingswood Music Theatre; over the years, it has grown into a stadium show at Rogers Centre and in 2003, it found its current home at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre.
Rogers is also offering a ‘no service fee’ mobile ticketing service available exclusively to its wireless customers.
