Ford Greets Orthodox Families on Easter

Premier Doug Ford has greeted Orthodox families in Ontario on Easter, saying that Easter is an opportunity for Orthodox families to come together in faith and prayer to reflect on God’s love and celebrate life blessings.
Egypt’s ambassador to Canada, Ahmed Abu Zeid, took part In the Glorious Easter Mass, which was held by the Church of “St. Mary” in Ottawa, in the presence of the fathers of the Coptic Orthodox churches in Ottawa, and thousands of members of the Egyptian Coptic community residing in the Canadian capital and its suburbs, where he conveyed the congratulations of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to them.
He also praised the role of the Egyptian churches around the world in strengthening the bonds between the Egyptian communities and their mother country and stressed the keenness of the Egyptian Embassy in Ottawa to support all efforts made in this framework.
