Egyptian Immigration Minister Receives CEHA President
Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Ambassador Soha Gendi, received Dr. Magdy Nashaat, President of the Canadian Egyptian Heritage Association (CEHA), and Maryam Tarek, a member of the Ministry of Emigration Dialogue Center for Egyptians Studying Abroad (MEDCE), as part of a sustainable communication strategy with Egyptians abroad.
The minister began the meeting by welcoming the two guests to the ministry, stressing that the ministry of immigration is always open to their suggestions and requests that support the state’s strategy for sustainable development.
For his part, Dr. Magdy Nashaat, head of the Canadian Egyptian Heritage Association (CEHA), reviewed the details of the activities of Egyptian Heritage Month, which is organized annually in July in Ontario, after it was launched for the first time in 2019.
The meeting tackled also ideas for developing the celebration of Egyptian Heritage Month, where the promotion of Egyptian art and identity was emphasized during these events.
