Over 1,300,000 Million Canadians with Employers who Subscribe to LifeWorks Canada Can Now Download the LifeWorks Mobile for Free through iTunes
TORONTO, Feb. 5, 2013
Ceridian, a global provider of human capital management solutions, announces that LifeWorks Mobile, which provides employee assistance, health and wellness resources and support, is available for download through iTunes app store. iPhone users whose employers are Ceridian LifeWorks customers can download the app for free. A similar app for Android and BlackBerry users will be coming soon.
LifeWorks Mobile connects on-the-go Canadians to LifeWorks Canada website content, an online portal to Ceridian’s EAP, Work-Life and Wellness resources and services. These programs help companies increase productivity, improve employee retention and focus, and lower overall employment costs by providing quick, easy access to tools, resources and support for everyday living.
LifeWorks Mobile provides access to podcasts and audio tracks, articles and digital booklets on everything from managing stress and dealing with depression and anxiety, to establishing healthy eating habits, financial management and parenting concerns.
“LifeWorks Mobile is designed to make it easier and faster for employees, of Ceridian LifeWorks customers, to find the resources they need, whenever and wherever they are,” says Shelley Ng, vice president of product management, Ceridian Canada.
“Employers realize that employee health and wellness impacts performance on a multitude of levels,” says Cande Dandelé, executive vice president of HR solutions, Ceridian Canada. “LifeWorks has proven to be an invaluable resource to over 8,000 Ceridian Canada customers, providing confidential support to more than 1.3 million employees and their families. We’re very pleased to be able to extend our offer of information, help and support to address personal and work-related issues to those on-the-go.”
“LifeWorks Mobile is easy to use and includes relevant information that employees will appreciate,” says Linda Hart, Human Resources Policy and Programs at Symcor. “Our teams don’t always have time to access health and wellness resources and materials while at work, so being able to download this information on one’s smartphone is ideal.”
