As the Canada Arab Business Council’s 40th anniversary approached, excitement was building among its members for the upcoming Annual Gala and Business Forum. The event was set to take place at the Delta Hotels by Marriott in downtown Toronto on May 29th and 30th, 2023.

The Gala Dinner was expected to be a highlight of the event, with the theme of “Celebrating 40 Years of Canadian Business with the Arab World” and “Celebrating Arab Canadians for their Contribution to the Canadian-Arab Fabric”. The evening would begin with a Networking Reception at 6:00 pm, followed by a formal dinner and keynote speech at 7:30 pm.

The following day, the Business Forum would take place, with the theme of “The Next 40 Years of Successful Canada-Arab Business Relationships”. The day would start with a light breakfast at 8:00 am, followed by the Business Forum from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. After a short networking break, a keynote speaker would address the attendees during lunch at 12:30 pm. Later, the Country Break-Out Sessions would take place from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, where attendees could meet with ambassadors and engage in networking.
