As part of the Winter Festival, Taste of the Middle East Toronto will host a concert on Saturday, March 18 to celebrate Arabic music art culture.
The Beirut Ya Beirut Concert will begin at 8:30 pm at the Mississauga Convention Centre.
The concert will see Headliner Dana Salah all the way from Jordan and for the first time in Canada, Hala Chergui – Fusion Opera Singer – all the way from Montreal and for the first time in Toronto. Also Danny Ashkar from Lebanon, Theatrical Dabke by Kranti and Charlene, local artists from Toronto. Ahmad Kabbara is coming from Ottawa to make you travel to Beirut through story telling.
“This would definitely be an unforgettable nostalgic experience. All people will develop their sense of belongingness to their roots and community. People will also feel connected to their City by living its art, music, and culture,” the organisers said.
