The 15th annual CJFE Gala: A Night to Honour Courageous Reporting. The event is an opportunity for us to recognize the courage of those who stand up for free expression.
This year we will be honouring Rami Jarrah (Syria) and Mae Azango (Liberia) with our International Press Freedom Awards. Daniel Henry (Canada) will be receiving our Vox Libera Award, and Radio-Canada’s program Enquête (Canada) will be accepting the Tara Singh Hayer Award.
We are also pleased to be displaying a stunning photo exhibit, featuring work from the streets of Aleppo, Syria and Tehran, Iran by photographers Goran Tomasevic (Reuters), and Kiana Hayeri (Reportage by Getty Images Emerging Talent).
