Contributing writers needed for Toronto magazine Jan 2013 launch

A new politics and culture magazine run out of Toronto, launching in January 2013, is looking for experienced freelance writers to contribute to the online portion of the publication which will transition to print distribution at a TBA date.
An ideal candidate is someone who:
• Has experience writing for a magazine, newspaper, etc. and can provide three (3) samples of writing
• Is in a post-secondary program related to the field, whether it be journalism, English, communications, media, etc. although education is not necessary as I do not believe that is the only thing that makes a writer excellent
• Has access to a big city, such as Toronto or Ottawa, and is able to travel to that city to cover events such as protests, festivals
• Has an interest in one or more of the following topics: music, television, film, arts, politics or activism
• Is involved in social media, most importantly, Twitter
• Must have time to contribute at least 3 articles on a weekly basis, depending on the length and depth of the article
